Terms of Service

The plain version: be honest, follow the law, and don't try to break the platform. The longer version is below; both versions are binding.

Last updated: April 2026. This document governs your use of BBM BOYZ. By accessing the site or using any service we provide, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to transact on BBM BOYZ. If you're consigning a card, you represent that you are the lawful owner with the right to sell it.

2. Listings & Authentication

Every card we list passes through our six-step authentication process. Authentication is performed in good faith using industry-standard tooling and human review. We stand behind every BBM BOYZ-authenticated card via the Authenticity Guarantee.

3. Bidding & Auctions

Bids are binding. Auctions extend by 2 minutes when a bid lands in the final 2 minutes of the listing. The winning bidder is the highest valid bid at auction close. We reserve the right to cancel bids that violate these terms or our anti-shilling policy.

4. Vault Custody

Cards held in the BBM BOYZ vault are stored in a climate-controlled, 24/7 surveilled facility in Tokyo, fully insured at appraised value. The first 24 months of custody are complimentary; storage is $1.50 per card per month thereafter. You may request shipment or sell-back at any time.

5. Wallets & Payments

Wallet balances are held in trust. We do not lend, invest, or rehypothecate user funds. Withdrawals are processed within 3 business days to your default funding method or to a bank account you specify.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Bidding on your own listings or those of associated parties (shilling).
  • Submitting forgeries, alterations, or knowingly mis-described cards for consignment.
  • Scraping, automated bidding (outside the platform's autobid feature), or any abuse of platform infrastructure.
  • Using BBM BOYZ to launder, evade taxes, or finance prohibited activity.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or close accounts for cause, including violations of these terms. We'll always tell you why. You may close your account at any time; pending transactions and vault holdings are settled or shipped before closure completes.

8. Liability

BBM BOYZ's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the lesser of (a) total fees paid to BBM BOYZ in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) the appraised value of the card at issue. We carry insurance well in excess of either figure.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, with disputes adjudicated in the Tokyo District Court. Buyers in the United States may also pursue claims in their home jurisdiction; we will not invoke a forum-selection clause to defeat consumer-protection statutes.
