Before he was a 10-time MLB All-Star and a member of the 3,000-hit club, Ichiro was a young outfielder for the Orix BlueWave. Card Narrative

BBM's 1993 set is relatively plentiful, but finding 'The Ichiro' in a true PSA 10 state is a challenge due to the thin card stock and the green borders which show even the slightest whitening. It is the '1952 Topps Mantle' of the Japanese modern era.

Provenance

This card came directly from a private collection belonging to a former staff member of the Orix BlueWave organization. It had been preserved in a climate-controlled environment since the year of its release.
